How Layouts Works
Layouts is an on-demand creative subscription built for teams that need consistent design support without hiring a full in-house creative department.
You pay a predictable monthly fee, add as many eligible requests as you need to your queue, and your creative team works through them according to the active production capacity included in your plan.
There are no per-project quotes for work included within your subscription scope, and revisions remain included as long as they stay within the original request.
Who It's For
Layouts works best for businesses with recurring creative needs rather than one-off projects.
- Marketing and growth teams that need creative every week
- Startups, SaaS companies, and growing businesses
- Agencies that need additional creative production capacity
- Founders who need reliable design support without hiring internally
- Internal creative teams that need help during busy periods
If you only need a single logo, one website, or another isolated project, a fixed-scope project may be more appropriate than a subscription.
How the Workflow Works
- Submit your request: Add a clear brief, references, content, dimensions, and any relevant brand assets.
- Set your priorities: Add as many eligible requests as you need to your queue and arrange them in the order that matters most.
- We start production: Your plan determines how many requests can be actively worked on at the same time.
- Review the work: Your first delivery, completed production stage, or meaningful progress is shared through your workspace.
- Leave feedback: Request revisions directly on the project while the work remains within the original scope.
- Approve and keep moving: Once a request is completed, the next eligible priority in your queue moves into production.
Unlimited Requests, Defined Capacity
"Unlimited requests" means you can keep adding eligible work to your request queue during an active subscription.
It does not mean unlimited simultaneous production or an unlimited number of completed deliverables each month.
Each plan includes a defined amount of active production capacity. Requests above that capacity remain safely in your queue until an active slot becomes available.
What We Design
Layouts supports a range of creative disciplines depending on your subscription plan.
- Graphic design
- Social media creative
- Advertising and marketing assets
- Presentation design
- Brand collateral
- Brand identity design on eligible plans
- Website and UI/UX design on eligible plans
- Motion design and video editing on eligible plans
Services Depend on Your Plan
Not every Layouts plan includes every creative discipline.
For example, specialist services such as brand identity, website design, UI/UX, motion design, and video editing may require a higher subscription tier or separate project scope.
Your pricing page and active plan determine exactly which services are available to you.
Generally Outside Subscription Scope
Unless specifically included or separately agreed, Layouts does not provide:
- Front-end or back-end development
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or application development
- Complex 3D modelling or CAD
- Advanced VFX or character animation
- Photography or on-location video production
- Printing or manufacturing
- Full-scale copywriting
- Trademark searches or legal clearance
- Advanced UX research, user recruitment, or formal usability studies
If you're unsure whether something fits your plan, send it through and we'll confirm the appropriate scope before production begins.
Turnaround & Delivery
Layouts is designed to keep creative work moving consistently—not to make unrealistic promises that every project will be completed in 24 hours.
Standard Requests
Most standard requests receive an initial delivery, completed production unit, or meaningful progress update within approximately 1–2 business days after the request is ready for production.
Straightforward requests may be completed within that window. More complex requests naturally require additional production time.
Large Projects Are Broken Into Stages
A complete brand identity, website, application interface, long presentation, complex motion project, or large campaign is not treated as one 48-hour request.
Instead, larger projects are divided into manageable production stages.
Example: Brand Identity
- Visual direction
- Moodboards
- Logo concepts
- Logo refinement
- Typography and color system
- Supporting visual language
- Brand applications
- Brand guidelines
Example: Website Design
- Sitemap or project structure
- Wireframes
- Visual direction
- Homepage design
- Inner pages
- Responsive layouts
- Components or design system
- Developer handoff
This staged approach keeps production predictable and gives you the opportunity to review important decisions before the next part of the project begins.
When the Turnaround Clock Starts
Production timing begins once we have everything reasonably required to work on the request.
This may include:
- Final copy
- Brand assets
- Dimensions or specifications
- Images or footage
- Product information
- References
- Required access
- A sufficiently clear brief
Requests missing essential information may be returned for clarification before entering active production.
What Can Affect Delivery?
- Request complexity
- Number of pages or screens
- Amount of supplied content
- Footage length
- Revision volume
- Client feedback time
- Specialist requirements
- Changes to the original scope
Unless specifically agreed in writing, turnaround estimates are not guaranteed completion deadlines.
Ownership & Rights
Once all applicable amounts have been fully paid, you receive the rights Graphitty Digital LLC owns in the final Deliverables created specifically for your business through Layouts.
You can generally use, publish, modify, distribute, and adapt those final Deliverables for your business, subject to any applicable third-party licensing restrictions.
Source Files
Where source files are included within your plan or service, we provide the relevant editable production files associated with the approved Deliverable.
Depending on the project, these may include files created in:
- Figma
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Canva
Third-Party Assets
Fonts, stock photography, stock video, music, plugins, icons, templates, and other third-party materials remain subject to their original licensing terms.
If your intended use requires a separate or extended third-party license, you may need to purchase that license separately.
What Layouts Keeps
Graphitty Digital LLC retains ownership of its pre-existing systems, workflows, internal templates, processes, unused concepts, rejected drafts, tools, and production methods.
Managing Your Requests
Your Layouts workspace acts as the central queue for your creative team.
You can submit multiple eligible requests, organize their priority, monitor active work, review deliveries, and keep feedback attached to the relevant task.
Your Request Queue
You can add as many eligible requests as you need while your subscription is active.
Your plan determines how many requests can be actively worked on at the same time.
When one active request is completed, the next eligible request in your priority queue can move forward.
What Counts as One Request?
One request is one reasonably sized unit of creative production.
Larger jobs may be divided into multiple requests based on complexity, production time, number of deliverables, pages, screens, concepts, or stages.
Examples
- A small set of related social graphics may be one request
- A limited number of carousel slides may be one request
- Several presentation slides may be one request
- One website page or defined page group may be one request
- One UI screen or small related screen group may be one request
- One stage of a brand identity may be one request
These examples are guidelines rather than guaranteed output limits. The appropriate request size depends on the actual complexity of the work.
Changing Priorities
You can reorder your queue when priorities change.
Keep in mind that changing priorities may affect the expected timing of other requests already waiting in the queue.
Communicating With Your Creative Team
Clear communication keeps projects moving quickly and reduces unnecessary revision cycles.
Project-specific feedback should normally stay attached to the relevant request so your creative team has the brief, files, feedback, and project history in one place.
Depending on Your Plan
Communication may include:
- Structured comments inside your project workspace
- Visual annotations
- File attachments and references
- Email support
- Direct Slack communication on eligible plans
- Creative sync calls where included in your plan
Keeping important approvals and scope changes documented inside an approved communication channel helps both teams maintain a clear project history.
Files, Software & Brand Profiles
Layouts works across industry-standard creative tools depending on the type of request.
Our production workflow may include:
- Figma
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Canva
Brand Profiles
Your Brand Profile helps Layouts work more like an extension of your internal team.
It can contain:
- Logos
- Brand guidelines
- Color values
- Typography
- Approved imagery
- Previous creative work
- Visual references
- Recurring preferences
The more consistent information your creative team has access to, the less you need to explain your brand from scratch with every request.
Client-Supplied Files
You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to use logos, fonts, photographs, footage, music, copy, trademarks, and other materials you provide to Layouts.
Plans, Payment Methods & Invoices
Layouts is a subscription service operated by Graphitty Digital LLC.
Your plan determines your monthly creative capacity, included services, specialist access, and collaboration features.
Payments
Subscription payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Accepted payment methods are determined by the payment options available through Stripe at checkout.
Recurring Billing
Subscriptions are billed in advance and automatically renew at the applicable billing interval until canceled.
By subscribing, you authorize Graphitty Digital LLC and its payment processor to charge the payment method associated with your subscription at each renewal.
Invoices & Receipts
Payment confirmations, receipts, and applicable billing documents may be issued electronically through Stripe or Layouts.
Where available, billing documents can also be accessed through your billing portal.
Changing Plans
If your creative workload increases or you need access to specialist services not included in your current plan, you may request an upgrade.
Plan changes, additional capacity, and specialist availability may affect your subscription price.
Update Your Account Information
Keep your account, company, and billing information accurate so we can process requests and payments correctly.
Depending on your account setup, you may be able to update:
- Company information
- Billing details
- Payment method
- Team access
- Brand information
- Account contact details
Certain payment information may be managed securely through Stripe rather than stored directly by Layouts.
If you cannot update something from your account, contact Layouts Support.
Pause, Cancel or Refund
Canceling Your Subscription
You may cancel your subscription using the cancellation option made available by Layouts.
Cancellation stops future renewals. It does not normally reverse a billing period that has already been processed.
Unless otherwise stated, your subscription remains active until the end of the current paid billing period.
Pausing
Layouts may offer subscription pausing on selected plans or accounts.
Where a pause option is available, any applicable duration, fee, restrictions, or restart conditions will be shown when the pause is requested.
Refunds
Except where required by applicable law or specifically approved by Graphitty Digital LLC, subscription payments are non-refundable.
This includes:
- Unused subscription time
- Unused production capacity
- Failure to submit requests
- Requests remaining in your queue
- Cancellation after a renewal has already been processed
- Client delays or missing materials
- Complex projects extending across multiple billing periods
- Dissatisfaction where reasonable revisions remain available
For complete contractual terms, please review the Layouts Terms of Service.
Writing a Great Creative Brief
Better briefs usually mean faster production, fewer questions, and stronger first drafts.
Include the Goal
Tell us what the design needs to achieve, not just what it needs to look like.
For example: attracting sign-ups, announcing a launch, explaining a feature, increasing ad clicks, or supporting a sales presentation.
Include the Deliverable
Tell us exactly what you need, including:
- Format
- Dimensions
- Platform
- Number of assets
- Required copy
- Deadline where relevant
Provide Your Content
Unless copywriting is specifically included, provide final or near-final copy before production begins.
Add References
Share visual examples you like and briefly explain what you like about them.
Two or three relevant references are usually more useful than a large folder without context.
Explain What to Avoid
If there are visual directions, colors, styles, competitors, or treatments you don't want, mention them in the brief.
Keep One Request Focused
Avoid combining unrelated deliverables into one request.
Larger projects can be submitted as one overall brief, but Layouts may divide the work into smaller production stages.
Giving Clear Design Revisions
Revisions are most effective when feedback is specific, consolidated, and connected to the original brief.
Be Specific
Instead of:
"I don't like it."
Try:
"The headline feels too small compared with the product. Please increase its visual priority and reduce the supporting copy."
Use Visual Feedback
Where possible, annotate the exact area you want changed or attach a reference showing the direction you're describing.
Consolidate Team Feedback
If several people are reviewing a project, combine feedback into one clear revision round whenever possible.
Conflicting feedback from multiple stakeholders can slow production significantly.
What Counts as a Revision?
A revision is a reasonable modification that stays within the original request and creative direction.
Examples include:
- Adjusting typography
- Changing colors
- Replacing an image
- Updating supplied copy
- Refining spacing or layout
- Improving an existing approved direction
When Feedback Becomes a New Request
A major change in purpose, format, concept, deliverable type, audience, or project scope may be treated as a new request.
For example:
- Turning a social ad into a landing page
- Adding 20 new slides to a presentation
- Changing to an entirely different identity direction after approval
- Adding new website pages
- Turning a static design into a motion project
Unlimited revisions are designed to help us refine the work—not turn one request into an unlimited number of different projects.
